Just where is your money going?

We as members of the Collingwood Run Committee we are often asked, just where all the money you work so hard to fundraise is going... We wanted to share this with you. This is just one example of a grant that was awarded by the Ontario Region of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

Watch CTV coverage of Dr. Rebecca Dent of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Rosemary Aubert, a breast cancer patient, as they discuss a study that looks at using 3-D imaging technology to determine whether chemotherapy is working as expected on breast cancer patients. With the grant money received, the goal of the program is to expand this to include many more patients in many more centres across the province (and the country), enabling doctors and patients the ability to know sooner that a treatment is working.
