Beyond excited, thrilled and extremely honoured.....

I first wrote about this incredibly moving and inspiring story in June, I then did a follow up in August.
When I wrote my first blog post - An Amazing Story about Life, Love & Cancer, I said that I really thought that stumbling across Meghan's blog The Bees Knees had forever changed my life. I guess we all have moments in our life when we hope to be able to do great things. To be able to pay it forward in life so to speak. So when I was asked to join the organizing team for the 2011 Tubbs Romp to Stomp out Breast Cancer Snowshoe Series one of the first things I did was contact Adam again. Recalling that I had seen on Meghan's list Snowshoeing as one of her goals. This would be that moment for me. The moment when I didn't even think twice, I know the pain of a lost loved one to cancer ( my dad ), so I can imagine in some small ways what Adam is going through. I am beyond excited, thrilled and extremely honoured to be able to tell you that Adam accepted my invitation and he will be coming to take part in the Tubbs Romp to Stomp out breast cancer. To be able to help Adam accomplish one of Meghan's goals is such an honour.
I am now asking that if you have not already registered to come and be a part of this fabulous event, that you do so now. We all have our own reasons, mothers, grandmothers, wives, aunts, daughters, best friends, sisters, even the men in our life could get breast cancer. So come out and let's all stomp together, join the 100's of participants already registered, support a future without breast cancer and if you have been moved by Adam & Meghan then come and share in small piece of Adam and Meghan's incredible journey as Adam accomplishes #8 on Meghan's list of "New Goals"....

Here is Meghan's list now updated with the goals that Adam has accomplished over the last few months, including taking a train across Canada, travelling to India to volunteer with children for 3 months, etc.

So.... here we go- (Thursday, September 10, 2009)
Life Goals...

1) To hold a PhD, I'm not too picky on what it is going to be in. The way I am going though, I think it's bound to be nursing.
2) To learn another language. I've got a head start on Korean and French, I just need to get motivated enough to do it.
3) To master at least one of the following musical instruments - cornet, cello, piano, or guitar.
4) To live in at least 5 different countries - So far I've only got Canada and Korea. I'm assuming that I will have United States in the near future (preferably San Fran, DC, Portland and Maine). I'm thinking somewhere in Europe and in South America?
5) To run a half marathon. I've a lot of training to do though, seeing as the 5km I ran today was far from easy.
6)
Spend at least 100 hours volunteering. (Note*** So far I'm up to 40h :)) (finished Oct. 1, 2010
7) Master the following- sewing, knitting & crocheting (Note*** on my way with knitting/sewing, kinda sorta)
8) Become part owner of a Bed & Breakfast (with Adam)
